Mistral

The Mistral frame (plate) is designed for athletes who execute double-rotation jumps and advanced spins.

  • Differentiation between left and right frame, which facilitates the toe-assisted jumps, namely the Toe-Loop, Flip y Lutz.
  • “Click-action” mechanism that allows for heightened precision with truck-adjustment, maintaining their orientation even during more complex movements and skating.
  • Frame derived from a drawn Aluminum bar, and completely created using computer numerical control (CNC) machining.
  • 13 mm king-pins inclined to 16° with traditional trim.
  • Elastomer cushions available in 5 hardnesses (colors).
  • Aluminum trucks with 7mm steel axles and adjustable pivot pin.
  • Toestop and tool kit included.
Roll-Line does not sell directly to the public; to complete your purchase, please refer to an official reseller.

Cushion Hardness Guide

Each plate size comes furnished with a specific cushion hardness.
If the needs of the athlete differ, a replacement cushion kit can be purchased separately.
Please consult the guide to select the most appropriate cushion.

FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
It is preferable not to replace the cushions too close to competitions (i.e, within 1 week).
The replacement of cushions varies the action of the trucks which necessitates a proper adjustment time.

For additional information on how to replace cushions, please see the video tutorial.

Right and left bases

The professional Roll Line® plates are characterized by an interior inclination of the toestops of 4°.
This particular setting offers a series of advantages, namely:

  • better positioning of the toestop in the phase of takeoff on toe-assisted jumps
  • better control in the centering of spins
  • optimization in pushing movements

Truck Settings

Turn the kingpin nut with the tube wrench in a clockwise direction to tighten the cushions, or in a counter-clockwise direction to loosen them.
Starting at the reference point of 0 indicated on the click cup, it is possible to adjust the nut marked by the numbers 1-8, in order to find the optimal personal setting.
Be careful to respect the utilizable limits when making adjustments to avoid malfunctions and/or damage.

Pivot pin adjustment

It is important to ensure that the screw is inserted into the opening using a light pressure.
Loosen the locking nut using a 13mm wrench before inserting the screw.
Loosen or tighten the pivot pin using a 6mm hex wrench.
Ensure that the pivot pin is inserted into its cup with a light pressure. Tighten the pivot nut.

Control and maintenance

It is advised to verify the condition of your equipment at every use.

In particular, it is advised to check:

  • the plate is securely attached to the boot
  • the king-pins are securely fastened to the plate
  • the cushions are in good condition (not cracking, chipping, etc.)
  • the pivot pin is inserted into its bush with a light pressure
  • the wheels and lock nuts are in good condition
  • the proper roll of the bearings
  • the toestops are in good condition, well-positioned, and clean

FURTHER RECOMMENDATIONS
It is preferable not to act on trucks close to competitions (less than 1 week).
Changing the setting involves a variation in the behavior of the skates which requires a suitable adaptation time.

For more info on how to properly adjust the suspension, please watch the video tutorial.
